FAQs

At Beautiful Blooms Landscaping, we pride ourselves on the quality of our product. As designers, we look forward to finding solutions that work for the unique requests of our clients, while creating a landscape that will last. We are involved in local networks that allow us to stay up to date on plant material that will thrive and relevant, effective landscaping practices (i.e. ‘Right Plant, Right Place’).

 

Can you replace sod/ remulch beds?

We install sod and mulch as part of greater landscape design, but do not come out to replace only sod or mulch. We have a minimum requirement of 1 day of work for our smaller crew and if the mulching or sodding job meets that requirement, we can make an exception.

Is this a good/ bad time to install a landscape?

We are lucky enough in Northeast Florida to experience good planting weather year-round.

Do you provide consultations?

Yes. Our first consultation is always complimentary. We usually try to determine before we meet with you whether your project will require a full landscape design and estimate or just an estimate. If we go on to provide a landscape design and estimate for you, there is sometimes a design fee depending on the size and complexity of the project.

What services do you offer?

We consider ourselves a full-service company because we can help with:

  1. Your first consultation and assessing your needs/wants
  2. Putting together a landscape design and estimate to encompass your plans for your property and our suggestions
  3. Design installation
  4. Maintaining your new outdoor space to ensure your investment grows in the way it was intended to

What is your process?

When you contact Beautiful Blooms for some guidance with your outdoor space, we will request some basic info (i.e. name, address, phone number, email, details about the area you have in mind and whether you’re looking for planting design/hardscape design/ lighting etc). Then one of our designers will contact you to set up a meeting and request your property survey via email so they can prepare a basemap for your first consultation. During your meeting, you can be physically present or arrange a phone call while we walk your property. After we’ve gathered the information we need, we return to our design studio and begin work on the landscape design and estimate. This process usually takes 2-3 weeks and can take up to 4-5 weeks during our busy season. Once we’ve presented our landscape design and estimate to you, we welcome our clients to make adjustments so that the design better suits their needs. When you are ready to move forward to the installation process, we ask for a 1/3 deposit to begin the process of ordering materials and place your name on the schedule. Once our crews arrive and are well into installation, we request the second 1/3, and on our last day of installation we request the remaining balance. It is standard practice for our supervisors to check in with you, walk through the project with you, answer any questions you might have, and ensure we leave a happy customer.

Do you offer a warranty?

In most cases, Yes. We offer a 3-month warranty with our design installations. However, if you decide to have us maintain your new outdoor space, we will provide a 1-year warranty. In some instances, the homeowner or designer may request or specify some plant material that is not in our recommended hardiness zone. In these cases, we do not offer a warranty.
